Nigeria: UNIPORT confirms suspected ritualist who raped and killed his Niece as their student

By Igboamalu Chimezie Nelson Portharcaourt: The University of Portharcourt popularly known as UNIPORT on Wednesday 30th of August identified a suspect who dismembered his 8year old niece as 200level student of the institution. The spokes man for UNIPORT Dr Williams wodi confirmed this by a statement issued in Portharcourt on Wednesday. The suspect was said to have abducted, raped, killed and dismembered his 8 year old niece known as Chikamso Nmuzwumba on the 19th of August for ritual purposes. The suspect was caught by the the vigilante group while going to dispose off the remains of Chikamso's body and was handed over to the police in the state but escaped barely 24hours after he was handed over. According to wodi, "UNIPORT is working tirelessly with security agencies to apprehend and rearrest the dubious student who masqueraded  himself as a student. Nigerian School Admission: JAMB Announces Deadline For Direct Entry

Matriculation By I.C Nelson The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board in Nigeria has announced deadline of direct entry admissions. The dead line for direct entry for 2017/2018 admission year is on Friday 15th of September 2017. Direct entry students in Nigeria are to skip the first year in tertiary education because of reasons ranging students who have gone through advanced courses or has gone through a year one equivalent either in the said institution or from another institution. Hence, we advice all direct entry applicants to hasten their effort so as not to be left out in this year's admission process.

Jessica Kalu Ndukwe A student of University of Abuja (UniAbuja) known as miss Jessica Kalu Ndukwe has  has been feared missing by her parents. Confirming the report, with one of our correspondant in UniAbuja, The mother who identified herself as Barrister Elizabeth said she to her daughter on the 19th Saturday August 2017, before the ASUU industrial action took a serious turn.   "I called her on Monday her phone rang but she did not pick, then on Tuesday I tried to reach her but her phone was switched and I felt it was her battery was low, but the same thing happened on Wednesday and I got worried" According to her, when ever she could not reach her she called her friends and they took the phone to her, but on the this occasion her friends said she couldn't be reached.
