UNIBEN STUDENT WINS ESSAY COMPETITION

Borokinni emerged second runner-up in the Royal Commonwealth Essay Competition which involved 12,300 youths from commonwealth countries. He won the bronze medal after Annika Turon-Semmens from Australia and Hiya Chowdhury of India, who bagged the gold and silver medals, respectively in the senior category of the competition. Borokinni was the only Nigerian and African who participated in the competition this year.
