How to check Your Admission Status Step 1: Go to the admission checking portal of EKSU,  https://eportal.eksu.edu.ng/admissions.php Step 2: When the page opens up, enter the year in the space provided Step 3: Then enter Your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided Step 4: And click on the “submit” button to access your admission status. Fed Poly Namoda 1st Batch Admission List 2017/2018 Released

The names of admitted candidates who have been offered provisional admissions to read various programmes in the university are contained on the attached pdf document. Candidates who applied online can print their provisional admission letters online while other candidates will visit the Polytechnic Main Campus for collection with effect from 6th November, 2017 and Registration Exercise for the Academic Session will commence on the same date. Tragic: Polytechnic student drowns during swimming

By Igboamalu Chimezie Nelson Akure: Everyone was in shock in igbekebo, Ese, Odo council of Ondo state as a higher diploma student (Akin) who accompanied his friend for his father's burial met his untimely death. The young man had accompanied his four friends to bury Chief Antony Eminure. He was said to have jumped into the river after he he saw people swimming in the riverine community His corpse was recovered 3 days by a search team delegated by the community. The divisional police in the area said the matter has been reported to the state police headquarters in Akure. The corpse has been deposited in the mortuary of the General hospital in Okitipupa. Fire burns down Female hostel in Jos

The Female hostel of plateau state Polytechnic Jos campus was completely burnt by fire on Monday. The fire which began by about 8:30am burnt burnt until at about 11:50am. All efforts to stop the fire by students was fruitless especially throwing the students and lecturers into serious confusion as everyone fled from the inferno. According to NAN report, No life was lost as almost all the students had left for lectures. Yusuf Ade a security man in the school told NAN "No one was around to bring out anything" NAN also reports that the fire service operatives came by 11:20pm when the fire had already burnt down everything. The rector of the school Dauda Geymeng said that the incident was very surprising and the fire had resulted from a gas explosion at about 8:30am. "We shall move the students to another place.
