Humans and the sex Drive
By Victor Adeniran I had the privilege of meeting some teens recently within the age bracket of 16 & 17 who were apprehended for raping a girl from the same school they attended. After asking them series of questions, they obviously couldn't unravel what prompted them into that despicable act. Who should then be blamed? Is it the surge and activities of hormones necessary for pubertal onset or the sin nature. I also considered the fact that sexologists put the sexual drive of men to peak in the latter part of their teenage years (16-19) while the sexual drive in women peak in their late twenties. So could this scientific postulations on hormones push this boys to rape? What about Grandfathers defiling toddlers and Babies? This then is definitely not the handwork of high libido occasioned by hormonal activities.
