Students books The Joint Admissions and matriculation board of Nigeria with Vice chancellors, and Rectors of Universities and Polytechnics in the country, unanimously agreed in a meeting held on Tuesday in Abuja for a general cut off mark of 120 for Universities and 100 for Polytechnics in the country for the 2017/2018 admissions. The Registrar of JAMB professor Isaq Oloyede cautioned that Universities should not go below the cut off mark of 120. "All we have done is to determine the lowest cut off for admissions into higher institutions, what ever score you adopt is not below the score adopted in this meeting for admission into your various institutions is the decision of the school" He said. He also called for schools to be flexible in their adoption of cut off marks for admissions. He stated that the senate and school board should be given opportunity to choose their cut off mark. Abuja: The leadership of National Association of Nigerian student has expressed joy on the return of president Buhari to the country after his vacation that lasted over 100 days in London. The president of the Association Chinonso Obasi said that the students stood with the president through the difficult times and would continue to stand with him in prayers .
