By Azeez Oladimeji It is always a global tradition and believe; good governance is chiefly determined by the features of legislatures and the kind of legislation they made any where in the world be it developed or developing countries. An average legislature should always strive to be an embodiment of fairness, and just institution, where any law made would be devoid of sentimentality. It is on this notion I derived my sheer conviction and strongly made to believed that, legislature could be likely or synonymously called the pace setter of any prosperous nation. This simply denotes that, for a nation to be prosperous in all fronts her fate is vibrantly decided by the hands that constitute her legislative body. In light of these, I am left with no option than to make a quick and brief assessment on the kind of legislature Nigerian has been having in recent years, precisely from the commencement of the fourth republic. This assessment is all about nothing other than to take a curso

Humans and the sex Drive

Image
By Victor Adeniran I had the privilege of meeting some teens recently within the age bracket of 16 & 17 who were apprehended for raping a girl from the same school they attended. After asking them series of questions, they obviously couldn't unravel what prompted them into that despicable act. Who should then be blamed? Is it the surge and activities of hormones necessary for pubertal onset or the sin nature. I also considered the fact that sexologists put the sexual drive of men to peak in the latter part of their teenage years (16-19) while the sexual drive in women peak in their late twenties. So could this scientific postulations on hormones push this boys to rape? What about Grandfathers defiling toddlers and Babies? This then is definitely not the handwork of high libido occasioned by hormonal activities. Bible has it that everything God created was good including man and the biochemical substances (hormones) that he is made of. Hormones are necessary in bringing not

I would to the best of my  knowledge as a good student of history. mostimes I think I'm convinced beyond a reasonable doubt to make a brief analysis on some political events, that  has at various time unfolded within the four wall of Nigeria, precisely from her independence till date; which has on its own triggered my inquisition. We are blessed beyond measure, Human resources, natural resources, and all you could think of. Yet, it is our polity that has caught my attention, permit me to say; If I'm not mistaken,  there has been about fifteen (15) different political changeovers either,  as parliamentary,  military, interim or democratically elected government; starting from Alh. Tarawa Balewa up to the present administration of president Muhammadu Buhari. But what baffles me the most about all these political changeovers under whatever guise is
