NYSC Releases Timetable for batch B Corps members

The National Youth Service Corps was established in 1973 by Decree No.24 of 22nd May, 1973. The Scheme was conceived after the civil war of 1967 as a means to concretize the Federal government agenda of reconciliation, rehabilitation and reconstruction for national integration. .

The National Youth Service by its mandate was inaugurated to provide service in the areas of national integration and mobility of labour. 

It mobilizes Nigerian graduate youths who are sent to all geographical regions of the country to serve. The scheme is prepared to serve its customers through the following: 
1. Mobilization of corps members. 

2. Orientation of corps members. 

3. Posting of corps members to places of primary assignment. 

4. Participation of corps members in Community Development Service.

5. Participation of corps members in Skills acquisition and entrepreneurial development.

6. Winding-up and passing out of Corps members.

According to students who are members of the Parliament, Oyekan has committed a series of impeachable offence and impeaching him is a welcome development. The Speaker of the Students parliament,  Falayi Temitope  said the president was removed over gross misconducts which include an attack on students.
