In Kenya: The University of Nairobi announce 57th graduation ceremony

The University of Nairobi has announced date for its 57th graduating class. The University how ever made this known through its website recently saying;
"The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students from the Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS), College of Architecture and Engineering (CAE), College of Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS), College of Education and External Studies (CEES), School of Law, School of Nursing and Department of Biochemistry (BSc Biochemistry) who have qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2016/2017) and members of the public, that the 57thGraduation
Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 commencing at 8.00 a.m. at the Chancellor’s Court next to Central Catering Unit, Main Campus.
The University has taken seriously with students owing clearance fees as it has said only students who have paid for their fees by Friday 8 of September will be allowed to graduate.
Regarding its gradation fees the university has also taken a clear stand with the following information;
"Each graduand must obtain a clearance certificate from the relevant College Registrar upon clearance with the respective Department/Faculty/Institute/School, Library, Halls of Residence and Games Department and pay a compulsory Graduation/Convocation fee of Kshs. 1,000/=."
