Solidarity greetings from the table of NASSS constitution committee and the faculty representatives.
It's with a delighted heart that we bring to the general public  information/updates  regarding the newly formed faculty association.
Firstly, we would like to utilize this medium in appreciating the efforts of the Dean of social science, the H.O.D's and other lecturers of the faculty for their roles in helping us actualize this goal of integrating the four(4) departments of the faculty into a unified bond.
Not also forgetting the indefatigable efforts of the departments exco/stakeholders, concerned comrades and all members of the faculty in seeing that the faculty association is a dream come through.

However, due to time and other factors associated with conducting a faculty election, we can not hold our election this semester and the faculty association as an institution that it is, has to kick-start it's activities with an interim government as was decided/agreed upon in a joint meeting of the faculty Reps, constitution committee and the departments excos on the 17th of July 2017.

Some students have had a bad turn, not hat it finds them faulty, but they are in circumstances that leaves them incapacitated to so nothing. They lead a double life. Post by Igboamalu Chimezie Nelson Obafemi Awolowo University  (Pmparrot) The SRA(Student Representative Assembly) of OAU has impeached the President of the Student Union Government on the basis of promoting cult activities in the institution by inviting cult to the institution. According to students who are members of the Parliament, Oyekan has committed a series of impeachable offence and impeaching him is a welcome development. The Speaker of the Students parliament,  Falayi Temitope  said the president was removed over gross misconducts which include an attack on students.
